Bracka 6
A Lovely Luxury Apartment in the Center of Krakow Poland

In planning our stay in Krakow Poland, we decided it would be fun to stay in an apartment rather than a full service hotel.  It has always been a fantasy of ours to stay in apartments throughout Europe so when Bracka 6 caught our eye on the internet, we had to book it. It was everything we could have hoped for and more!

Once again, we found a fabulous hotel!  This time we experienced a hotel we really enjoyed in Milan, Italy; the lovely UNA Maison Milano Hotel.  We were looking for a hotel that would be located right in the Historic Center of Milan and as far as we are concerned, we couldn’t have made a better choice.

The lovely Bossche Suites Hotel, turned out to be a wonderful choice for our stay in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, especially if you want to feel like a local in your own lovely modern European apartment.  By the time we left two days later, it already felt like home to us and we hated to leave!

The Shelbourne Hotel -
Dublin
, Ireland

When we decided to stay at the historic Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, we picked it because the photographs of the hotel were absolutely beautiful, we loved the fact that it was right across the street from lovely St. Stephen’s Green, and it was just a short walk to Grafton Street.

Apex International Hotel - Edinburgh, Scotland

Choosing the Apex International Hotel in Edinburgh to be our base of operations during a recent trip to Scotland proved to be an excellent decision.  The hotel is ideally located in an area called Grassmarket. It is within easy walking distance to many of the city’s main attractions and there are a number of very good restaurants and traditional pubs immediately across the road from the hotel’s entrance.

Budapest Marriott Hotel -
Budapest, Hungary

We stayed at the Budapest Marriott Hotel which is located on the banks of the Danube River and our room had a great view of the Buda Castle (the Royal Palace) which is right across the river.  The city is actually divided by the Danube River with the western side being Buda and the eastern being Pest which is where the hotel is located.  The hotel exterior looks like something out of cold-war era Eastern Europe, but the interior is lovely.

Hotel 1898 - Barcelona, Spain

When we arrived in Barcelona after our Trans-Atlantic flight, feeling grimy and tired, I was encouraged to find that our hotel was an oasis of cool and calm in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and sits on the corner of the bustling La Rambla.
